I write my life in pen, I can relive any moment again
Lessons learned, fallen loved ones cannot be erased,
then replaced with new lessons or new people,
because I write my life in pen.
His plan and my pen agree that nothing should be released or set free,
It’s all a chapter in my personal legacy,
History and His story not far from fetched,
Still remembering my own is birthed from His.
My life in pen is a repeated chance to worship Him,
Remembering how the storm moved on and the rainbow appeared year after year,
I reread my life in pen,
I remember when,
I remember then,
I remember Him, because
…my life is in pen

Sharing My First Love
Upon a new decade, I realize unknown to many my writing sits in a corner of underdeveloped skills.
My first love and I met long ago from the first time I could write we were inseparable. We met often over hyperboles or short stories and as we grew older we focused more on prose and rhythm. We took a break and I admired others in our time apart. A piece of me would always wonder when we would meet again and pick up our love affair where we left off. I could always be myself with my love, uncensored, unrestricted, raw and vulnerable. Full of flaws, scratches and bruised from the world's ways and still my love embraced me and all of my transgressions. I've kept my love a secret, selfishly endulging every trait that draws me closer, ignoring the purpose of our love. The purpose of showing others that this type of love is capable through Christ for all. Now acknowledging our purpose I explore methods of communicating our love openly, sharing our moments with others as others have shared with us.
Welcome to our world, our love, our journey and I pray that through our purpose you are moved to seek your own.

Napturally Glamorous
You know, I love being natural but I take it for granted more often than not. So before 2010 arrives, I have things I want to change.
1) I've been working on my health - physical and mental
2) Better hair care, no the BEST hair care
3) Just living a natural lifestyle period!
It's great to be a Naptural Hottie because we're all Naturally Glamorous.

Acquiring new tastes
So I woke up this morning and realized that I am going to do things different as the new year approaches. No, I'm not making new year resolutions , which no one ever keeps; what I need is life changes ! So I began with my dear friend's wellness plan...so far so good...I'm 3 days in, lol. I laugh but really this detox ain't a punk! Fruits and vegetables all day for 7-9 days, and cooking without salt...what negro no salt? Then my second shot at change is yoga...which I love but how long does it take to become flexible like my petite Asian instructor? Who knows? Anyway I will be tracking my progress of change weekly, shoot I don't have time for daily...
